With the method developed by our company, we are capable of identifying whether the endometrium has reached a receptive status, i.e. the implantation window, using genetic expression methods on an endometrial sample. The new approvals already allow for the extension of measurements to the uterine lavage and the blood sample as well. Taking a uterine lavage sample is non-invasive, painless and the results can be utilized within the same cycle.
Within one cycle, the endometrium goes through tremendous gene expression changes, the cells transform, the endometrium thickens, then loosens, and finally sheds. During this process the expression of genes also changes markedly, which can be determined from a small tissue sample.
Through the aggregated analysis of a large amount of genomic data accumulated in recent scientific research, we have successfully selected 93 genes which could characterize the status of the endometrium.
For these 93 genes, we have developed a reliable method which allows for the measurement of the expression of all genes at the same time, within a few hours.
